These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the GameDay Stats mobile application and related support services. By downloading, accessing, or using GameDay Stats, you agree to these Terms.
Who may use GameDay Stats
You must be legally able to agree to these Terms. If you use GameDay Stats for a school, club, team, league, business, or other organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf.
Children under 13 may not independently create an account. Adults who use the app to record information about youth athletes are responsible for obtaining any required permissions.
Accounts and Apple services
You may be able to use GameDay Stats as a guest or through Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for maintaining control of your device and Apple account and for activity performed through them.
Features that rely on iCloud or Sign in with Apple are also governed by Apple’s terms, availability, and device settings. We do not control Apple’s services.
Your content and responsibilities
You retain ownership of team, player, game, schedule, and statistical information you enter. You give GameDay Stats permission to process that content only as needed to provide, maintain, and improve the features you use.
You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of your content and for obtaining appropriate permission before entering another person’s information. Do not use the service to upload unlawful, harmful, infringing, deceptive, or unnecessarily sensitive information.
Acceptable use
You may use GameDay Stats for lawful personal, team, school, league, or organizational scorekeeping and statistics. You may not interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, misuse another person’s account or data, reverse engineer the service except where the law permits it, or use GameDay Stats in a way that violates another person’s rights.
Scores, statistics, and decisions
GameDay Stats is a convenience tool. You remain responsible for confirming official scores, player statistics, game timing, eligibility, league rules, and recordkeeping requirements. Information in the app should not replace the decisions of officials, coaches, leagues, schools, or governing bodies.
Ownership of the service
GameDay Stats, including its software, branding, visual design, and original content, is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable right to use the service as intended.
Availability and changes
We may update, add, suspend, or remove features to improve GameDay Stats, address security or legal requirements, or respond to changes in third-party services. We do not guarantee that every feature will always be available on every device or in every location.
Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GameDay Stats is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GameDay Stats and its owners, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, goodwill, or opportunities arising from your use of or inability to use the service.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited. Your rights under applicable consumer-protection law remain unchanged.
Ending use of the service
You may stop using GameDay Stats at any time. We may restrict or terminate access if you materially violate these Terms, create security or legal risk, or misuse the service. Sections that by their nature should continue after termination will remain in effect.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as the service or applicable law changes. The effective date above identifies the current version. Continuing to use GameDay Stats after updated Terms take effect means you accept the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
