This Privacy Policy applies to the GameDay Stats mobile application and related support services. In this policy, “GameDay Stats,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the provider of the GameDay Stats service.
Information we handle
Depending on how you use GameDay Stats, we may handle:
- Account and profile information, such as your name, email address, and Sign in with Apple identifier when you choose to create or use an account.
- Game and team content, including team names, player or roster names, schedules, scores, game events, rules, and statistics that you enter.
- Support communications, including your email address and any information you include when asking for help.
- Basic technical information supplied with a support request, such as device model, iOS version, and diagnostic details you choose to share.
GameDay Stats does not ask you to provide passwords, government identification numbers, payment card details, or health information through the app or support email.
How we use information
We use information to provide the features you request, save and display your games and statistics, sync supported data across your devices, respond to support requests, maintain reliability and security, and comply with applicable law.
We do not sell your personal information or use your GameDay Stats content for targeted advertising.
Local storage and iCloud
GameDay Stats is designed to work locally on your device. If iCloud Sync is available and enabled, supported app content may be stored in your private iCloud database and synchronized across devices associated with your Apple account.
Apple processes Sign in with Apple and iCloud data under Apple’s own terms and privacy practices. Your use of those services may depend on your Apple ID, device settings, network connection, and available iCloud storage.
When information may be shared
We may share information only as reasonably necessary with service providers that support the app, such as Apple for iCloud and Sign in with Apple; to protect users, our rights, or the security of the service; to comply with a valid legal request; or as part of a business transaction where permitted by law.
Service providers may use information only for the services they provide and are subject to their own legal and contractual obligations.
Player and children’s information
GameDay Stats may be used by adults to record roster names and sports statistics, including information about youth athletes. The person entering that information is responsible for having appropriate permission and for entering only what is necessary for scorekeeping and team management.
The service is not directed to children under 13 for independent account creation. If you believe a child’s personal information was provided without appropriate permission, contact us so we can review the request.
Retention and deletion
App content remains on your device or in your private iCloud storage until it is deleted, the app is removed, or the applicable Apple service removes it. Synced deletions may take time to appear on every device.
You can delete individual games, teams, players, and other supported records within the app where deletion controls are available. For help with a privacy or deletion request, email support@gamedayteams.com.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information we handle. No storage or transmission system can be guaranteed completely secure, so please avoid including sensitive personal information in team names, player records, or support messages.
Your choices and rights
You can choose to continue without an account, adjust iCloud access in your Apple device settings, edit or delete supported app content, and contact us about access, correction, or deletion. Additional privacy rights may apply based on where you live.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as GameDay Stats evolves or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top will show when the latest version took effect. Material changes will be communicated when required by law.
