GameDay Teams ("GameDay Teams," "we," "us," or "our") provides a team communication and
organization app for coaches, players, and parents (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains
what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service, you
agree to this Policy.
Information We Collect
- Account information you provide when creating an account or joining a team,
such as your name, email address, and (optionally) phone number.
- Team and roster information that coaches and team administrators enter,
including team names, player and coach names, roles, jersey numbers, and similar team details.
- Content you create in the Service, such as schedules, events, messages,
announcements, RSVPs, documents, and forms.
- Device information needed to deliver push notifications (a device
notification token) and basic technical data such as app version and general log information.
- Subscription information if you purchase a paid plan, such as your plan type,
subscription status, and renewal dates. Payments are processed by Apple (for in-app purchases) or
our third-party payment processor (for website purchases); we do not receive or store your full
payment card details.
How We Use Information
- To provide and operate the Service — creating teams, managing rosters and schedules, and
enabling communication between team members.
- To send notifications you have enabled, such as schedule changes and team announcements.
- To send account and service-related emails (for example, password resets and invitations).
- To maintain the security, integrity, and reliability of the Service.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it
to serve third-party advertising.
How We Share Information
- With your team. Information you add is visible to the appropriate members of
your team (for example, a schedule you post is visible to your players and parents).
- With service providers who help us operate the Service, under obligations to
protect your data — including our hosting provider, our push-notification provider
(Google Firebase Cloud Messaging), our transactional email provider, and our payment
processors (Apple for in-app purchases, and our web payment processor for website purchases).
- For legal reasons if required to comply with applicable law or to protect the
rights, safety, and security of our users or the Service.
Children's Privacy
GameDay Teams is intended to be set up and administered by adults — coaches, team managers, and
parents. Information about minor players (such as a name or jersey number) is entered by authorized
adults for the purpose of organizing the team. We do not knowingly collect personal information
directly from children. If you believe a child has provided us information without appropriate
consent, please contact us and we will take steps to remove it.
Data Retention
We keep your information for as long as your account or team is active, or as needed to provide
the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures, including encryption in transit (HTTPS),
to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we
cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Choices
- You can update your profile information within the app.
- You can manage or disable push notifications in your device settings.
- You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by
contacting us at the address below.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above,
and significant changes will be reflected on this page.
